Hi! My name is Ms. Taylor, I’m a Florida native raising two young wild Floridians along the Homosassa River. I grew up on the water, exploring springs, trails, and wild places all throughout Florida — and I believe that’s exactly how childhood and education should be experienced: through adventure, curiosity, and meaningful connection with nature. During our homeschooling journey, my children and I discovered so much joy in learning through hands-on exploration across Wild Florida that I felt called to share this experience and style of education with other young Floridians. At River School, my goal is to help children build confidence, resilience, creativity, while creating a deep love & respect for Wild Florida. Safety is incredibly important to me; I strive to create a safe environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and free to be their wild selves while safely exploring the outdoors. I am first aid & CPR certified and have gone through lifeguard training. I can’t wait to help your child discover their strengths, spark their sense of adventure, and find their true calling as a Real Floridian!
