Our sunscreen is an all natural tallow based formula made with non-nano zinc oxide as the main active ingredient with red raspberry seed oil added for extra protection. Zinc oxide offers both broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. The non-nano zinc oxide is a safer option than traditional sunscreen as it does not penetrate the skin and enter the bloodstream making it safe for babies & kids! 

INGREDIENTS:

*Grass-fed beef tallow: Rich in fatty acids most similar to natural human skin oils, making it very nourishing and hydrating for the skin. Locally sourced & dry rendered.

*Organic Unrefined Castor Oil: A natural carrier oil that contains linoleic acid, which helps to strengthen the skin's natural barrier and retain moisture. 

*Non-nano Zinc Oxide: Mineral sunscreen that provides broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays by creating a physical barrier on the skin that reflects UV radiation. 

*Red Raspberry Seed Oil: Offers additional sun protection, particularly against UVB rays. It is estimated to have a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of around 30-50, which is considered a moderate to high level of protection.

*Organic Local Beeswax: Combining beeswax with tallow creates a water proof barrier to allow the sunblock to sit on top of your skin for extended sun protection.
